Saw monster caddis that lasted about 3-4 days

If you are familiar with the October caddis.... what I saw was BIGGER and a watery dun color. It's a bug that I've never seen before and assuming that it came from the Susquehanna. Hatched at dusk and into the dark along with some hex, ISO, stenos, sulphurs, etc.

Anyone have an idea of what in the hell I saw?

It's not the #8-#10 speckled wing caddis that's typically found on the river in mid / late June.
 
There have been some aquatic moth flying in huge numbers this spring/summer that I thought were caddis for a while. The ones I seen weren't huge in size, but were in high number and the color seems right.

Then again I wasn't on the Susky.
 
Might be an alder fly, seen some really big ones before
 
Just saw this. Definitely not an alder fly. Caddis for sure. Wish I could have gotten a picture
