I like them. But then I am not as fussy about hooks as many people and all newer hooks are better than the ones 50 years ago when I started. In the end, I think most hooks are made in just a few factories.
I was curious my self last year so I bought A few backs to see. I tied up about 100 total flies, I used some , my son tried them and A few friends and nobody had any problems with them. I know that is only A small sample size but they look very promising.
I tied about 2 dozen woolly buggers on some I got at a local shop a year or so ago. I was looking for Tiemco hooks but they didn't have what I wanted. I don't notice any difference between those, the buggers I've tied on Tiemco, or Mustad.
I just ordered a few different sizes the other day from fly shack. I'm interested to see how their dry fly hooks compare to a TMC100.
