REPORT SUSPECTED SPAM HERE

Hi just wondering what the best way to report spam posts?
Should I just PM a mod or is there another way.


The reason I ask is this post just came up and I didnt want to bother a mod if there was better way to report the post.

Thank you Nomad, taken care of.

Here is a good place to do it. Its been a bit of a hassle lately and we are trying to work on solutions that will allow open registration while blocking bots and spammers. We get about 3 spammers for every legit user registered. Not all post right away so the community doesn't see it.

We appreciate your calling our attention to it.

Thanks for your efforts. It is a never ending battle against spam. There will never be a perfect solution. I never realized the membership statistics were that disproportionate. Thanks again.

Yes, it's definitely been a hassle, especially for the site owner DKile.

In addition to Maurice's suggestion, I'd add that if you see a spam post in an old thread that has not been refreshed for awhile, just refresh the thread with a simple post like "spam" so that it goes back to the top and we (the mods) can see it and whack it.
