Trying to remove heavily worn Kold Cutter Screws from my wading boots with Vibram soles. Have a few Kold Cutter Screws that will spin but will not back out of the boots.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

Much appreciated

Smaller nut driver?

A nut driver and a flat screw driver use the screw driver to pry up while unscrewing the stud.
Make sure your wearing work gloves incase the screw driver slip.

Yep, upward Pressure while turning it.

Ultra fine needle nose pliers work good to get upward pressure for the threads to grab.

If you manage to get the stud out that hole it’s going to be so chewed up it will never retain a new stud. My suggestion is to just add new studs to other spots in the heels and soles and let those worn kold kutters stay where they are.

Dumpster
