Regal Vice Extension

Regal came out with a vice extension that brings the head of the vice closer to the tier's body. The joints of the extension still allow full movement of the jaws. It can work on a C clamp or large pedestal.

Hi, I think they will be around $60. Should be released in the new year.

I guess I'm not really seeing the point in this new "invention".

Regardless of clamp or pedestal base, I can get plenty close to any vise as-is.

Well, it puts the vise in a more comfortable and natural position to tie. I had pretty severe back pain earlier this month and reaching to tie was very difficult.

This extension is a game changer for anyone who puts long hours at the vise.

Other then a potentially extreme price the other problem I see is the extension would cause their crappy little base to become tippy. I made my own base for my Regal as I see you did as well. I guess it would not matter with the C clamp.

I know what your talking about with comfort. I also have a griffin that comes out of the stem directly at you. It's a much more comfortable tying position.
