The stream that's runs through an around Rebuck in Northumberland county can anyone tell me what it's called? And any info on the fishing there? Thanks

That should be Schwaben Creek. I'm from Shamokin maybe we could get together sometime.
I haven't fished this creek a lot, mostly stockies.

Such a depressing area when I am forced to go there.

I used to fish Schwoeben creek when I was little. It's a stocked stream with a touch of spring influence. Lots of meadow sections with undercut banks. Gets fished pretty hard in the spring but a few do hold over. When water is low look for fish tight against the undercuts. Doesn't take much to get this stream off-color because of it being in farm country. Best flies are green weenies, caddis and terrestrials. Be prepared to catch a lot of chubs though too. But there are holdover trout and some small bass as well.

Also in the next valley over around Klingerstown, you can fish the Mahantango and some of its branches which also hold some stockies along with some nice bass that swim up from the Susky.
