Heads up on this virtual shop. I've bought beads, hooks, etc. at 1/2 price from other shops. Hooks are branded "Kobe" but appear to be made by Tiemco. Beads are less than half price. Shipping $3-$4 and free for orders over $50. Check it out.

I've ordered stuff from www.anglersvice.com but only because no one local could get me the product I wanted. Its a good site but I strongly urge you to support your local fly shops and business that carry fly tying products rather then ordering online. I much rather would like to see my product before purchasing it and fly shops are coming hard to find these days. I buy a lot of my fly tying materials at Uncle Joe's Woodshed because its local for me and I want them to keep the materials in stock, honestly I'm suprised they carry as much as they do. Most other stuff I get from Fly Fishers Paradice or E. Hille's since they are only a half hour drive for me. So definitely support your local shops even if it costs a little more...at least you know what u are buying and supporting the little guys.

I agree with bigjohn, if we don't go to the local brick and morter shops then they will close up. I always support the local business no matter what the item is. Even the local hardware store who charges more, but you know you will get the info you need unlike the big box hardware stores. Think about the future guys...
