Just got a pair, and used them Sat & Sun....they rock- expensive, but very supportive, comfortable, and well made.

Get some if you can find them. :-D

I got a pair of the rivershed with vibram. Like them, but did hit a spot or two of shale I believe (water was dirty) and slide a bit. Other than a few slides (which is normal in almost any stream) I did like them.

Do either of those models have studs?

I haven't come across any with vibram sole yet. Maybe haven't looked hard enough yet. I know some boots with aquastealth have studs, not sure about the vibram soles yet. I am sure in time they will. Still out fishing all the time? Lucky b****.

BF- thanks and YES.

This link should help...

I've used the Simms aftermarket studs before, and they are very good. The carbide means they will not wear out nearly as fast as a standard sheet metal screw. If you look around a bit online, you should be able to find them for $15.

Of course you can just get sheet metal screws cheap and replace them more often...

anyone think about or try to rivet the boot bottoms and then put in the simms screws? Possible?
