Friends, members and everyone,
Tomorrow evening, Thursday May 17, there is going to be a rally at West Chester University, Sykes Hall. This rally is to alert, educate and provide information on what you can do to protect the East Branch of the Brandywine River.
Williams/Transco has re-applied for a dry cut stream crossing of the Brandywine. This method was denied in their original application in 2009 by DEP. They are trying again.
I feel strongly that the dry cut stream crossing of the Brandywine is not the best alternative. It will adversely impact the stream and create long term stormwater runoff issues.
We need a strong public presence at this meeting. Please attend.
