The PFBC stocked 3000 RT and 3000 BT (browns) fingerlings in the usual fingerling stocked stretch of the Schuylkill River in June, 2018 (mouth of Tumbling Run below Pottsville downstream to Rt 443 in Schuylkill Haven). At the time of stocking they were 3-4 inches long. Browns had adipose fins clipped off for later identification/separation from wild trout during a late summer/early fall planned electrofishing survey that was designed to measure survival. The survey never occurred because of the consistently higher flows than could be effectively electrofished. If anyone who was able to fish that stretch of the Schuylkill since the stocking date would be willing to let me know if they caught any of those fish and to what extent (approx. numbers and their lengths) I would appreciate learning of the catch(es). By late summer or early fall I would estimate that the RT should have been about 6.5-8 inches long and the BT should have been 5.5-7 inches long.
