30 miles or so below Callicoon and believe there's already a big campground there with zip lines, etc
 
It is on the NY side right between Lackawaxen and Barryville.
That is well below the traditional trout water. Usually any water below Hankins is considered marginal trout water.

Still deserves protecting- I signed it. Although considering the overall economic state of that area, I highly doubt it’ll get blocked unless it’s a complete disaster waiting to happen.
 
If I were to make a wild guess, the parties will figure out a way to keep the worst parts of this proposal off the banks of the river, but allow it to happen. It's an area of low economic vitality, so county tax ratables and other business interests (like canoe rentals, restaurants, etc.) would want the increased traffic. If it were in the wild trout section, I could see some stronger opposition.
