For anyone interested, the meeting time is 7:30, meeting place is the Upper Perkiomen Valley Library 350 Main St. Red Hill PA 18076.

Announcement;
September 17th will be our first meeting of the fall season. We have some speakers lined up for the fall that I'm sure you're interested in hearing. First at the September Meeting Don Baylor is coming to speak about fishing the trout streams of the Pocono Mountains. don has been a long time member of the Brodhead Chapter of TU and has studied and documented the insects in the Pocono Mountain Streams for a few decades. If you're interested in fishing the Poconos, this is a must see program.

Next on the agenda is outdoor writer Bob Ballantyne for our October 15th Meeting. Bob has gone to Yellowstone National Park for 28 years and fished many of the best trout streams there. Fisheries Biology and Species Restoration in Yellowstone National Park. This is my favorite program to present because it is different from a “where to go and what to use” fly/trout fishing program and focuses on the concept of “conservation biology” as applied to trout. Some of the procedures become a bit challenging to the audience, but it has been well received where presented in the past.

Moving ahead to January Bob will be returning to present a program; "The Fish And The Fisherman In Yellowstone National Park."This is a program on fishing in YNP as a way of getting in a great fishing trip to “the West” without breaking the bank, and it contains a lot of information on where to go in YNP from a trout fishing perspective.
All meetings are open to the public!
