On Tuesday night, 18 February, Bob Ballantyne will be doing one of his slide shows (in PowerPoint). This was rescheduled from January.
This is his basic slide show: The Fish and The Fisherman In Yellowstone National Park.
The program gives information on how to have a western trout fishing/fly fishing trip at minimum expense using the storied waters of Yellowstone National Park.
It focuses on the northern half of the famous park and features the waters of the Gardner River and its tributaries, as well as the Soda Butte and Slough Creeks, Trout Lake, and portions of the Yellowstone River. It also deals with the park's ever-changing fishing regulations and with some western history.
Bob has previously presented programs to our chapter on fisheries biology in Yellowstone, and on fly fishing in the winter off-season in the lower Florida Keys
Bob will also have copies of his book "Woodlands, Waterways, and Mother Nature" available. Visit his website:
