Penns and Other Streams Last week

Went to central PA. Ostensibly for the start of Grannoms on 4/15. Some say you can set your calendar by them. Survey says, SHOW ME BULL%$$#! So Tuesday caught fish on Cherry Run, Wednesday (snow on the ground) on Big Fishing and Spring. Friday got a couple below the confluence with Elk on Penns. Saturday the Hendricksons were coming off above the fast water above the cottages about 3:30. I drove back up and fished again below the confluence. I tagged 2 on Grannoms.

Ah I believe we met at Coburn in the parking lot next to the walking bridge. Fishing was very slow on Friday! I was able to luck into a few in the morning and things definitely picked up mid-afternoon.

Lots of guys out but the weather and the fish were just not cooperating.
