This is one crazy bird. I got it from a bird farmer out west who said it was barred but left out that it was irridescent from beak to tail. It should be a lifetime supply, being over 2 feet long. The pictures don't fully capture the shimmer, the last is a fly I tied

Looks pretty cool, what size flies are you thnking you'll get out of that bad boy?

Yea it looks pretty nice. Will make some nice soft hackles.

The example is a 14 standard. It'll go down to midges and up to streamers and everywhere in between. The pictures don't do it justice. The flight feathers go from pink to black/bronze and will make excellent biot bodies.
