I was thinking of purchasing a paper cutter for cutting craft foam and packing foam strips. Any advice on a particular brand/model would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jim

I just use scissors. Straight is overrated.

Norm, Do you know whether the guillotine type or the rotary type cutter is better for cutting foam?

Thanks, Jim

i have not tried either one

i use the method shown below

poly (or wood) cutting board, utility knife and straight edge

i was cutting buckskin at the time but it works great for foam

i dont tie mass quantities of one fly so i'll cut up 4-6 strips at a time and use them when needed

This is an excellent way to cut strips accurately to exactly the width you need. Also, the disposable razor knife blades are convenient as you always have a sharp edge that produces clean cuts in the foam.
