Looks like the South East region will be getting crowded for the first 2 weeks of april. The Opening Day is March 31st. and the rest of the states opening day will be April 14th. Discuss...

They should have kept it the same for the whole state. I can see problems with two openers, especially along the border between the two areas.

So when will they be stocking these waters for opening day?

If they are open to fishing from March 1st unti March 31st...and some of them are in the Eastern half of the state...when will they stock them for the regular season?

Just one of the many things not considered when they decided to do this.

Actually at the last PFBC Commissioners Meeting they approved additions to the SE Regional open day, amking it even more confusing. They added section of sreams that are in the SE Counties that cross county lines.
I thought they wanted to simplify the trout regulations?
I'm skeptical about more crowds on the SE streams though.

It's all because of global warming! Pretty soon opening day will be in January! ;-)
