On 20 June in Boiling Springs will be PA Fly Fishing Heritage Day. This is held at the pavilion at Allenberry and involves some nice tying and casting demos as well as the chance to talk to local and national experts about insects, bamboo rods, etc. A few years ago I got some really good deals on hard to find tying materials. They do appreciate pre-registration: $7 per person or $12 if you want lunch too (kids under 15 are free).
If you have never visited the PA FF Museum, it is at the Allenberry resort in Fairfield Hall not far from the fishermen's parking lot. Just walk in and it is on the left. It's not a big exhibit but growing steadily. This makes for a nice day and you can fish between browsing the exhibits.
