I find the fly fishing articles in the Big Sky Journal to be excellent.
So much so , it inspired a trip to the Tri Basin divide area of WY to pursue that states native cutthroat slam- caught the 4th and final cutty in 2011. One of the streams mentioned was Horse creek where I caught native Colorado cutthroats. Highly recommend the area.
Anyhow , I just read an article about tales of western outlaws in the 1800's. Their hideouts tend to be in remote ,hard to get to areas, that are perfect areas for fishing. I want to fish the Jarbridge in NV and try that states native trout program.
With these dog days of summer still clinging on like my wet shirt to my back- maybe you might enjoy some of these tales.
