Just saw this email and picked up one for myself after being in Saturday's downpour. Sorry I didn't catch it sooner! Heck of a deal! Every review I've read says it's great!

My Orvis jacket is about 10 yrs old and still looks almost new. Their jackets are top quality.

Care instructions say use a powdered detergent. Once a year I put it on gentle cycle, cold water with no detergent and let it air dry.

I have that jacket and it has served me well over the last 3 years. It runs about 1/2 size bigger. at $250 its a good buy for something t5hat will last for a long, long time.
