Orvis BattenKill Spey IV w/ spare spool & 2 vintage clamshell cases

I recently purchased an Orvis Battenkill Spey IV Disc Drag Fly Reel that I have used a handful of times. It is a very nice reel but I have found one that I like better and better serves my purposes. I bought the spare spool at the same time I bought the reel. The spare has never once had line on it. Needless to say, my loss is your gain. This reel has a great sealed drag system and is excellent on bigger fish. This reel makes a small pop sound when disassembling, very nice precision machined reel. I have caught carp up to 20lbs with this reel. If you are looking for a heavier reel to balance out a long fly rod or a vintage fly rod with weight, this is your reel.

I have the original boxes, key, manual, reel and spools. The original case I am keeping BUT i have included 2 Vintage Orvis Clam shell cases with this reel and spool.
