Does anyone know where about this organza ribbon material? I saw it used in a tying video. I was wondering if I can get it at a craft store, or do I have to search fly shops to find it?

Try Michael's Crafts.

Wow, that was fast H.A.! THats great, there's a Michaels about 3 minutes away from me. I appreciate your reply. I'm interested in using it for a caddis emerger pattern, but it seems like it can be used for others patterns as well. I guess I'll just have to use my imagination, as I often do at the tying table!

is that the same caddis emerger pattern I posted the video on a few threads down??? because I'm thinking of tying a few of those up too...

Here's the link for the video.

Makes a pretty cool looking caddis!

yep that's the one... check out the thread and look at some of the patterns captmatt posted... he's good!

After watching McPhail's videos on youtube, I've got plenty of food for thought at the tying bench this winter. He's a bit hard to follow the first few videos you watch, but it gets easier. The Scott accent is heavy!

Mmmhmmm, had to get me some organza ribbon, that Caddis looks deadly!

Thanks for sharing ry!

great tips on the ribbon fellas! I buy alot of tying materials from craft and fabric stores...spend some quality time with the wife shopping for feathers and stuff, give me brownie points to get out on the water! tight lines to all
