Octopus Hooks Flies?

I just ordered a bunch of Octopus hooks,and am wondering what flies you guys use them for. I've never used them, but figure that I

I'm hoping to use them for, in particular, for some saltwater flies (Clousers) for stripers and blues.

They make great stinger hooks on articulated streamers.
