Was wondering if anyone on the board has any knowledge of this park. It is 85 bucks for a yearly membership but it's fly fishing only. Would it be worth it? Can't see the west branch of Chester creek as a year round fishery, but it is FFO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Worth it depends on what you like. I lived in Del Co. for 25 years and when I first lived there I joined. Honestly it is a very short stretch of stream and not very deep. Just not all that exciting for me as fast riffles and runs are my cup of tea and don't remember any of that there. You would probably do just as well on the main branch of Chester Creek or on the W. Branch.

Thanks Van for the review looks like I will be saving my money.

Is this the same Grist Mill out on Rt 1 that used to have 3 ponds with various sized trout, and you pay according to size? If so, that stream is quite small through there. They called it the Mill Race?

Yes thats the one you pay 3$ per inch someone is cashing in.

Newlin Grist Mill stream fishing is fly fishing only, barbless hooks.

I fished below it as a kid and did just fine.
