Well... Long story short... I try to fly fish but am not great to say the least. I have been fishing for 35 plus years spinning, but over the last 15 or so, fly fishing 1 or 2 times. Last year, I went out about 10, and have taken some casting lessons but still have a long way to go.
Anyway... I have 15 year old 8wt White River Classic, and TFO BVK 5 wt I treated myself to last year. If I want to throw streamers And such for small bass, should I use the BVK, 8wt or buy a 6 or 7?
I want to use what will work best and give me pleasure catching fish...
