Hey all, just created an account and stopped in to say Hi.

I’m a returning fly fisherman, it’s been a few years since I fished regularly, life gets in the way sometimes but I’ve been out on the water a lot this season and having a blast. I mainly fish the Lehigh River around White Haven.

Are you fishing for bass or trout?

I fish mostly for trout but the water temperature has been too high lately. I targeted bass for the fist time a few times this summer with a popper on my 5wt rod, that was a lot of fun. It has me thinking of picking up a 7 or 8 to fish bass when it gets hotter out.

Thank you Tiger. I’ve been doing a lot of fishing at the Tannery bridge. I’m just waiting for the fall so it cools off a bit. I’ve been meaning to hit up mud run again, it’s been years since I went out there.
