new forum category

Many have been using this site to organize future trips and discuss activities during past fishing trips. Would it be a positive addition to the site to add a specific forum to post such information? These types of discussions have appeared randomly in the general forum, beginners forum and stream locations forum.
This could be a popular topic and help focus the posts in one place.

Well there is an events calendar that started recently and can be updated. That takes care of organizing the upcoming but not the discussions.

You can make additions to it by contacting Volksnurse via pm or one of the moderators who will get the event and date posted on the calendar.

I am not one for cluttering the forum up with too many categories. This one seems a little nichey.

A year or two ago I would have agreed with Maurice. However, the way things are these days (and seem to be headed), I'm more inclined to support the idea.
