Just chiming in to let everyone know that we've been working on www.flygearguide.com for the past 22 months.

We review fly fishing gear (everything from tippet to rods & reels).

We post weekly reviews and now have a fat (and getting fatter) GEAR REVIEW ARCHIVE section.

We are FULLY INDEPENDENT - zero advertising. Our reviews are honest and unbiased.

Not a fan of your site. Placing the cursor on the photos under review archives on brought up the pictures...no reviews.

You state “We are FULLY INDEPENDENT - zero advertising. Our reviews are honest and unbiased.” Then how come I didn’t find a review criticizing anything or not recommended, even on your Review Archive page.

It brings up the question, how do you get the gear? Does the reviewer buy it, get it at a discount or free from the supplier? I see how you make your money by having links directly to manufacturer site by clicking image on reviewed this week page.

Just my quick observations.
