Any recommendations of a net or seine to attempt to see what's floating by that the fish may be feeding on?

I'm thinking something that has to be compact, yet actually works!

Recommendations? Even homemade recommendations are welcome!!

I've tried separate seines and the nets you put inside your fish net.
I prefer the fishnet approach as it minimizes the number of items and bulk I carry. These often come with small pouches that attach to the net.

If you carry a regular net, go to Home Depot or your local paint or hardware store and get a mesh paint strainer.

If you feel the urge to seine the water, take the bag out of your pocket; slip it over your net & viola!!

If you don’t carry a net, you can still put it over your hand, pull it over a forked stick or hold it between two sticks.

Easy, compact, cheap, doubles as a head net if the skeeters are a-bitin' and you can even use it to suspend a few cans of beer in the stream to stay cold.

;-)

Thanks Gents!! I ordered some paint strainers to fit over my net. That's the easy thing I was looking for!!
