I’m sure most of you are familiar with Ned Smith. I have one of his prints, The Last Drake, that I’d like to sell. Actually, I have 2 of these prints, one is framed and one that is unframed, and I’ll sell either one of them. I have other fly fishing related pieces of art; this Ned Smith print is one of my favorites. Both of these prints are in excellent condition. Each print also includes the matching Conservation Stamp.
This print was issued in 1985. One edition was of 1300 prints. It was also issued in a limited edition of 100 artist proofs, which are the ones that I have. These prints come on the market periodically, however, those that I’ve seen offered for sale are prints from the 1300 edition, not the more desirable and rarer 100 artist proof edition.
I’d like $500 for the framed print, or $250 for the unframed print. You can pick either print in person in the Lancaster area, or I will ship it for the actual shipping, handling and insurance cost (which will be somewhat expensive since I would have them professionally packaged to better insure their safety in transit.)
