For anyone in the nepa area, I'm traveling to Scranton from the other side of the state this weekend and wondering if the Susquehanna and Lackawanna rivers might be fishable. The usgs gauges look reasonable, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any input.

NEPA is supposed to get hammered with a couple inches of rain starting... well, supposedly starting a couple hours ago. No sign of it yet. Still, the forecast as of 3 am is 24+ hours of rain and thunderstorms. I'd keep an eye on the gauges because things might be pretty blown.

There were localized downpours for a while this afternoon.

I think the Susquehanna will be your best bet since it takes a few days to crest, especially above where Tunckhannock Cr. dumps in.

Check these reports and call/stop in to ask these guys: https://www.agoutfitters.com/riverreports

Thanks. I'll take my gear in case conditions are ok.
