there is something about the mickey finn in the fall that i really like. however the fish in my typical warm water haunt never really responded to it well. every now and again i change somethings up on the typical recipe and have at it. the result are mostly the same, some fish but i'm always left with an unsatisfied feeling.
welp, this is this falls version. size 4 2x hook, about 3" oal fly. tungsten cone. so far not much has been able to turn it down. i could probably hook it on the rods fly loop, drop the entire rig in the creek and one would still try to get it.
