day and a half and you can already make a better globug than i could dream of.

Smaller loops on weenies, tighter palmer on shank.

On IPW, less orange,>read shorter on shank> Otherwise lookn good.

Get yerself some nice serrated scissors to cut your glow bugs. Should only take one snip to make a perfectly rounded crown. Pinch the two strands of yarn tightly and pull away from hook and snip.

But they will work. Just some constructive criticism.

Nicely done - you've got some flies to be proud of.

they look really good to me, smaller loops on the weenies though.

Try pink ultra chenille for th weenies fresh stocked bows live it.

Those are flies that look easy but can really be kind of difficult to tie.

Here's a blog post I put on this site a while back of how to make a good and DURABLE single egg.

http://www.paflyfish.com/smartsection.item.179/fly-of-the-month-steelhead-eggs.html

The key is LOTS of thread tension. I use 210 thread and crank down on the yarn.

You know how I've learned to deal with it: Not fish for stockies. ;-)

If you think only stockies eat eggs then you've got a lot to learn...

Talk to pcray about the pod of wild browns he's found several times munching on sucker eggs in the central pa area.

and if you really want some egg patterns then pm me your address and I'll mail you a few.

thanks, and i tought thats how long the loops should be, so i will make some in pink a,d make em shorter. thanks for the help

haha you can mail me some haha jk but i tied some grrenie weenies in pink and made smaller loops. the one slipped in the pic and made the chenille look not really good, but the other ones are tight. thanks now that i like it hopefully for christmas i can get a really good vise,
