Musky article from Post Gazette

Cool. It takes a special breed I think; especially when you go fishless for very long periods of time. That guide is located in good muskie territory in the state--western and northwestern PA are part of its native range. While fishing the streams in that area for smallies, I've often seen muskies cruising around. Sometimes very big ones too. In fact two weeks ago I saw one that appeared close to 4 feet simply cruising a rocky slot on the far side of the creek. It was only about 30 feet away from where I stood, had to have been aware of me, but just didn't seem to give a damn. Tried tossing a popper at him but he/she showed zero interest-- probably a good thing since I was using a 5 weight. :) Interesting fish for sure.
