I usually tie my flies for big toothies with a double hook in the rear on a 2-3" shank combined with a mono keel and tungsten bead(s) to get the fly to swim hook upward. Some flared deer hair or some other bulky nose on the fly helps to push water and facilitate the side to side glide that good muskie flies tend to do when stripped hard.
