multiple quotes

I've been playing around trying to figure out how to do multiple quotes and have not got it. I've seen people do this, putting several quotes in the quote boxes in a response. I can do a single quote but not more than one. I did a search for it and did not find anything, also looked through all 12 pages of this section. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jack

Here's my suggestion:

When you see the multiple quote, hit "reply" then "quote" and copy and paste it all to a word processor. Examine how the HTML codes create the displayed text.

A simple quote (ignore the *s) works like this:

[*quote*]

Jack said

blah blah blah....

[*/quote*]


Nested quotes proceed like this:

[*quote*]

Jack said

Blah, blah blah...

[*quote*]

Someonelse said

Blah, blah, blah....

[*/quote*][*/quote*]


Now here is how that displays after I remove the *s:
