On March 3rd, 4th and 5th, (Saturday thru Monday) Muddy Creek Trout Unlimited will be holding work days to clean up debris from the flood plain from the Bridgeton Area through the area below Woodbine. The flooding that occurred during the fall leaving this debris left quite a mess.
We also have to complete a riparian planting of live stakes and some trees and shrubs at the recently completed Growing Greener Project below Woodbine
We encourage anyone wishing to make a difference in the watershed to show up on any of the three days at 9:00am at the Woodbinge bridge. (route 425 off of Route 74).
For details on directions and where to go on a later arrival, contact Maurice via email. muddycreektu@comcast.net
Map of the area
This section of Muddy Creek is just a bit below the C&R FFO area so there is fishing to be had after a few hours of commraderie with fellow flyfishers and conservationists. I am sure you will enjoy this day of worthwhile effort and conversation.
