I didn’t want to hijack the glass rod thread in the general forum.

Does anybody have reviews or experience with Mountain Brook bamboo rods?

His prices are actually in the neighborhood of what I can realistically afford. And I like the fact that he is a “local” PA fellow.

I have never seen, let alone cast one his rods. I will say that I like that he lists the tapers he uses.

Unfortunately, I have never cast any of the tapers he offers, so I can't make any recommendations.

I can recommend a Paul Young "Midge" 6' 3" 4wt taper for fishing the places in your pictures.
