Montana books - advice

I have some upcoming travel and wanted to load a couple of books in kindle. I am new to this - just wanted to hear suggestions on downloadable books - related to trout fishing and more specifically Montana trout fishing.

I've never been to Montana, but I recently picked up a copy of Bud Lilly's Guide to Fly Fishing the New West, published in 2000. Lots of good info in there.

For reading that isn't so much of a how-to guide- Tom McGuane's The Longest Silence contains some neat essays on Montana trout fishing, as do most of John Gierach's books. (Check the table of contents.)They're both very good writers, and they also thread in a lot of helpful tips on various rivers and hatches in the process.
