removed locking mech and added 2 springs to keep prop in down position, then added a pull rope to lift it over stumps and rocks. finished the standup setup so I can run motor while standing up. ready to hit some local rivers for some big fish we hope.

What do you have more time in the yak or the van. What a combo, nice work.Love the steering system for the motor.

I would love to see more pics of the Nu canoe and hear how it works out and what rivers you have had it on. I am looking at something like that. Just enough to fit the dog and I.

The mods look good by the way.

Nice setup does your line tangle in it allot ?

nope no tangles, have fished pine and tioga rivers so far. rube Goldberg its not, a lot of guys bare rigging like this for control. found my ideas on you tube. need to get a bigger motor one day, this one is only 10 lbs. max and no reverse. want a 30 lb.. most yakrs put in a pedal steering but I want to stand and steer. yes henry redneck or as we like to call ourselves here ridge runners !
