Mini Sculpin Helmets

Just got my hairline dubbin email. They will be having mini sculpin helmets. I think i may even be able to cast this with my 5 weight.

I like these but they are tough to cast because of their weight. Says they will work down to a size 10. Might have to pick some up.

Mini Sculpin helmets are nice looking and effective. Unfortunately I'm a cheap old man and choke a little at their cost. Lately I have been winding lead wire and adding trimmed, spun wool for sculpin heads. Fish don't seem to mind.

I can't wait to grab some! I am definitely a tyer that focuses on fisherman instead of one of the smart guys that focus on fish.

I agree with you on the heads. I have been experimenting more with deer hair to get rid of the weight and costs but they might be worth a shot.
