I have been tying a lot of catskill style lately, just been in one of those moods.

Looks nice to me Brian.
The only thing I do differently , is mix brown and grizzly hackle for march browns.
Looks like you used only brown?

So you're in a catskill state of mind Brian :) nothing wrong with that at all. Looks nice, all you need now is the right time.

Thanks Jack, I appreciate it. The hardest part for me tying catskills is staying consistent from fly to fly.

Bill, I agree with you, the first one I tied is only brown. This one is mixed and I like it better.

Yea, yea I'm liking that Brian...

Very nicely tied! I like the sparse look of the first one better, but agree that the griz and brown is the way to go. Looks like your choosing well barred feathers for the wings too which are traditional and look great.
Mike.

Pretty ties!

Looks great, favorite style of dry.

Classic.

I don't tie or fish Catskill style dries much these days but there is something to be said for revisiting traditional patterns - both as tying projects and for fish catching.

Very nice. I am humbled once again.
