Received a call from a lifetime angler on the Manatawny yesterday morning at 8:15. He called only because he was exited that so many trout were taking nymphs so well, as if he could do nothing wrong. As I have previously mentioned here, many of the stocked trout streams, even in the warm SE, are in all probability supporting fairly good numbers of fish from the spring stockings. Water can be off color, as many streams presently are, but the fish will still take nymphs.
