Interesting video showing all the steps for making a graphite rod. It's very labor intensive. The manufacturer shown in the video is TFO, which make rods their rods in South Korea. Pretty impressive, IMO >

I saw an older episode of How its made on tv where they made graphite rods. This one was in the US. I first saw it around 15 years ago. Look sliek these were Thomas & Thomas rods.
