My tying area has made some upgrades over the holidays and my birthday that fell shortly there after. Just a bit of bragging about my very understanding wife so please humor me guys. I admittedly had an organization problem as I accumulated several different sized plastic containers worth of tying materials and hooks. Well for christmas my wife picked me up one of the orvis fly tiers travel bag which is very nice and is great to store tools and lots of the small tying materials. It fits about 1/4 -1/3 of the materials I have accumulated plus tools. It is very nice and handy and has helped me keep track of things. But it is a little expensive for what it is but it made a great gift and am very grateful for it.
Next for my birthday I guess I needed more organization as she picked up a fly tiers desktop and ultra thin box closet with boxes. The box closet with magnetic ultra thin boxes have been awesome in keeping hooks/beads organized.
As you can see I felt obliged to get in on the upgrade party and added a new peak vise to the mix. I am really happy with the vise and the organization. It is amazing how much faster I can tie when I can find everything. Thanks for humoring me and allowing me the do a little bragging about the wife.
