If you're like me, you invert your glue bottles so that you don't have to squeeze and wait for five minutes to get a dab of glue to come out. Eventually, the applicator tip will harden under some of the natural light.
Just use the smallest sewing needle you can find, jam it backward into the applicator, and carefully press the needle against a hard surface (so you don't snap the needle) to get the plug out. The needle will bite into the glue (which never gets hard, just acts like a tacky superball) and will force out the plug.
