Long time fisherman, NEW to fly fishing.

Hello, and that k you for the add. Just started my fly fishing adventure. I got a WildWater 9’5wt rod and reel. I’m not cheap but did not want to invest money until I felt it was something I was gonna like. Today was first day out was a little frustrating but was also fishing high fast water. I’m sure I’m not doing a lot of things right hahahahaha. I took a few days off this coming week so gonna put some hours in the water. I’m determined to figure this out. I also started fly tying, enjoy this a lot. Only making wooly buggers and PT nymphs few other easy versions. I do not know any one that fly fishes , but if anyone local wants to do some fishing let me know. Thx again for the good reads in the forum!!

Hey Paul. Lots of good water near you. Have you stopped into Cove creek outfitters in Bedford? I see lots of ads but haven't checked it out yet. Might be a good place to start. Let me know.
