Lodging near Spring Creek

Thinking of heading up to Spring creek in the week or so to do a couple days of fishing. Looking for some reasonably prices lodging in the area.

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus, University Park, a few times. Its only a mile from the Fly Fisherman's Paradise store and as close as you can get to Spring at Benner. Its right across the street from Sheetz near Nittany Mall.
It was clean and had everything I needed.

In the same price range are various chains as Holiday Inn and Marriott brands. The State College area isn't like big city and I haven't worried about quick access to the streams. Just don't drive through the middle of town if you are in a hurry.

Much cheaper but not as nice there is a Comfort Inn between State College and Bellefonte.

There is a hotel in lamar too. Not as close to spring, but still only about 15minutes away.
