Just a tip that I was at the mouth of the Little Schuylkill today and gave it the hand temperature test. It was plenty cold for trout, so that must also be true for the DH Area perhaps four or so miles upstream. Such is not usually the case at this time of the year. With the present flow, it is fairly big water, so you might like giving it a try.
Water was clear, but up about a foot.

If that warm spell about a month ago was not too hard on the fish, there are probably plenty in Port Clinton in the Little Schuylkill and from the fishing rodeo held in May in the main Schuylkill. The main Schuylkill was a bit stained and up about 1 to 1.5 ft.

Also, I was as far down on the Schuylkill as Berne today and the water was clear. Good depths along normally shallow shores with overhead cover would have been great for SMB, RBSF, and RB fishing today.
