Ended up on the Lehigh today after being shut out of my first choice of going to shoot some clays. I checked the flow out of FEW and saw that it was low and still cool! Still lots of stockie rainbows and one bluegill, that was a first, when the water is low you can park at the gauge and cross and wade up to near the dam and fish it like any creek, pick the pockets after the riffles. The stone shucks are on the rocks, no reason to use anything else this time of year because if you put a stonefly nymph in front of a fish on that river it will get eaten. Air temp was 80 with a nice breeze , all in all a nice day on the water.
